Gregoire Boonzaier

Gregoire Johannes Boonzaier was born in 1909 in Newlands – Cape Town. He is a painter of landscapes, portraits, still life, seascapes and figures. He worked in oil, watercolour, ink, wash, pencil and charcoal. As a graphic artist, he produced linocuts. He studied at the Heatherley School of Art in London, England under Bernard Adams and the Central School of Art in London, England.
