Judith Seelawder Mason Attwood was born in Pretoria in 1938. She is a painter and graphic artist of symbolic and mythological landscapes, figures and portraits. Worked in oil, pencil, various graphic media and with objets trouvés. She studies from 1957 – 1960 at the University of Witwatersrand under Cecily Sash, Erica Berry and Professor Heather Martienssen.
